My personal vibe would have to be glitz, glamour, and an irresistible mix of sophistication and sensuality! I'm forever inspired by the rich history of classic burlesque; however, teaching Burlesque Fusion at Choo La La allows me to weave the many dance genres I've learned over the years into cheeky, sexy, showgirl-style routines that are as fun to perform as they are to learn! Every block has a theme, and I love designing fresh, creative routines that my class can fully immerse themselves into within that theme!
The most rewarding part of my role is watching each student's inner showgirl come alive when they shine on stage; and seeing the pride radiate from them after a performance! Those moments make my heart sing and are the reason i am so passionate about what I do.
My goal is always, to cultivate a warm, welcoming, inclusive and supportive space where every student feels comfortable to explore movement, step outside their comfort zone, and grow - not just as dancers, but as confident, empowered women who lift each other up and embrace their own unique beauty... My classes are more than just dance, they're a weekly celebration of our confidence, connection & self-love!
